Back to School Immunizations

The North Carolina General Statutes (G.S. 130A-152(a)) require immunizations for every child present in this state. Records are checked when children enter school or child care. There are additional required vaccines for students entering 7th grade and 12th grade. An up-to-date immunization record is due by the first day of attendance at school. If proof of immunization is not provided within 30 calendar days after school entry, the student will not be allowed to attend school until it is provided, as required by law. Please turn in your child's updated immunizations records BEFORE September 11, so your child can continue to attend school.
