Food Drive - November 13 to 20

November 13-21 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. We need your help to stock the shelves at our local food pantry. All three of River Mill Honor Society groups (NEHS, NJHS, and NHS) will be involved in the collection of items. All donations will be sent to DreamAlign Ministries right here in the community of Graham. This is a great opportunity to teach your children that everyone does not have the luxury of having food to eat. This holiday season, give the gift of food to someone in need. All items are due in by Monday, November 20. Please send non-perishable items to the front office. (see below for a list of the Top 10 needs)

  • Canned Protein (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.)
  • Ravioli, Beefaroni, Spaghetti O’s, etc.
  • Pasta, Macaroni & Cheese, Instant Potatoes
  • Canned Soups
  • Oatmeal and Cereals
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Tomato and Pasta Sauces
  • Canned Fruits and Vegetables
  • Juices
  • Toiletries (deodorant, soap, toothpaste, etc.)

Any help you can provide will assure that the community and surrounding areas of Alamance County have food for the upcoming holiday season. Thank you for always going above and beyond to give back. For any questions, please contact Jenny Rudd at [email protected] or Ashley Rocha at [email protected].

Thanksgiving Holiday - November 22-24
