Hello everyone!
I am excited to be your math teacher this year. I graduated with honors from UNC at Chapel Hill and I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa, America’s most prestigious academic honor society. Its motto, “Love of learning is the guide of life,” deeply resonates with me.
Before joining River Mill Academy, I taught at Grimsley High School. My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that all students can learn and succeed in mathematics, and my role is to facilitate that growth. I believe math isn't just about getting the right answer; it's about building your confidence by understanding the "why" behind the concepts. I hope you all enjoy learning problem-solving skills through our course.
I know math can seem tough sometimes, but I am here to guide you. I am excited to learn and grow alongside you this year. My tutoring hours are every day from 3:00 to 3:30. Please feel free to reach out!
