Remote Learning Update
In case of any Remote Weather days, we sent home packets for our remote learning.
Students are required to turn in the packets with the completed work that matches the number of days that we were "Remote". These packets have to be turned in within three days after we return to be counted as present for the remote days.
Teachers will be available from 7:20-3:20 daily to answer any questions you or your child may have regarding any assignment. You can reach me via ClassDojo or by email.
IMPORTANT DATE updates:
-Friday, February 6th: Now a regular student day (Originally was a teacher workday)
-Thursday, March 12th: Now a full, regular school day (Originally an early-release day)
-Friday, March 13th: Now a full, regular school day (Originally an early-release day)
Mrs. Sykes & Mrs. Chavez's
Kindergarten Class
I am Mrs. Sykes, this is my second-year teaching and my first year in kindergarten and being at River Mill :) I taught a First/Second grade combination class at a school in Randolph County. I graduated from Pfeiffer University. I recently relocated to Alamance County since getting married in September 2025. Things that I like to do in my free time would include coaching/playing volleyball, reading books and spending time with my loved ones.
