I am excited for this new school year in second grade!

What are We Learning? 

Math: We have recently learned about picture graphs and bar graphs. We are now learning about measurement.

Reading: We are currently reading different versions of Cinderella with the idea of different cultures in mind. We are comparing and contrasting them while having meaningful discussion while reading the texts. 

Science/Social Studies: We are learning about Culture. This also brings up a connection to our reading. This week we are learning about France and Mexico.

Phonics: Our first Quiz was 8/20/2024 and it was on Short A, I, O review. This week on we are working on Short Vowel Review.
