Instructions

Reading:

  • Complete reading passage using strategies to answer every question (Stop & Jot or STAR)

    ****Day 3*** Does not include any reading comprehension questions. Using one of the vocabulary words listed, complete a vocabulary four square (definition, original sentence, part of speech with antonym and synonym, and picture)

                                        

    Math:

  • Work must be shown for any strategy chosen for multiplication, division, word problems and fractions

Science:

  • Research the behavior and structural adaptations of the animal of your choosing (Gray fox, Arctic fox, grizzly bear). It may be presented in any format as long as 3-5 behavioral and 3-5 structural adaptations are listed.


    Social Studies:

    Social Studies:

  • Day 2 Passage – Roots of Southern Food – Strategy shown (STAR or Stop and Jot) and questions answered – Graded out of 5
  • Day 4 Passage – Immigrants in the American Colonies – since there are no questions with this passage, we are looking for students to complete a Four Square vocab page filling in each of the required areas neatly and completely for ONE of the words from the vocabulary listed on the back of the passage.  (graded out of 7)
  • Day 5 Passage – Life in the Colonies - since there are no questions with this passage, we are looking for students to complete a Four Square vocab page filling in each of the required areas neatly and completely for ONE of the words from the vocabulary listed on the back of the passage.  (graded out of 7)
