Hello families, I am so excited to be your student's teacher this year! This will be my fifth year teaching and my fourth year at RMA. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I had the unique opportunity to teach in my own classroom during the Spring semester of my senior year. Being a teacher brings me a lot of joy and in my free time, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, hiking and camping. I also enjoy reading and painting when I have the time for it. This summer I traveled to California, Virginia, Arizona, and Western, North Carolina. I also like to volunteer with middle and high school aged youth at a few different camps during the summer months. I am currently working on finishing my master's degree in elementary mathematics at UNCG and will graduate in May of 2023. This year I am really looking forward to learning beside your student as we adventure through second grade together. I am here to help you and your student.
