About me...

I am a native West Virginian, where I grew up in the small town of Sistersville. I then attended West Virginia University, majoring in Political Science and Economics. I later went back so that I could teach secondary mathematics. I met my wife of 13 years on the debate team in college. As she was the captain, and I was not, I knew what I signed up for in the marriage. I am currently entering my 11th year of teaching. I have taught in alternative, traditional, and charter school settings around the state, working in Scotland, Moore, Guilford, and Alamance county schools as well as with Pittsburgh Public Schools (in PA.) My wife and I moved to Alamance County in 2011, and we truly feel at home in this community.
In my "spare" time, I like to relax with my wife of 13 years, my son Evan, and my Pekingnese Fred.

I enjoy working-out, science-fiction, video games (PS4, XB1, and PC), and sports (especially the Steelers, Penguins, or any WVU sport).
