On Friday, April 24th, Governor Cooper announced the closing of schools for the remainder of the academic calendar year. In addition to his announcement, the State Board of Education has mandated a new grading policy effective immediately for the remainder of 2019-2020 school-year. River Mill Academy has announced new protocols to help limit the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. The Board approved the changes as state officials have announced the virus has spread to more North Carolina counties.
