The success of River Mill Academy is largely dependent on effective teamwork... teamwork between teachers, parents, and students.  We encourage collaboration between teachers and parents to create the most effective learning experience for our students. To that end, we also encourage our parents to get involved in our school programs and activities.  Parents play a pivotal role at River Mill Academy.

A vital partnership is created between the home and school with parents viewed as the child's first and most important teachers. We need and expect your help in educating our students. It is a requirement that all parents will volunteer their time to the school four hours a month. Please contact your child’s teacher, the administration, or visit our website to learn how you can help. Attendance at our monthly meetings, Athletics Boosters, PTT, and Site Advisory Committee, on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm and the Board of Directors meeting every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm count toward your volunteer service.
