Thank you to all families who attended conferences this week either in person or over the phone! It was great being able to meet with you all and I can’t believe that we are already heading into the fourth quarter!
As a reminder there will be no more tutoring until after Spring Break!
As we enter into the fourth quarter of the school year, we are going to be very busy reviewing all the concepts we have learned this year. This is going to be a time of year that is crucial for students to be in class, participating, and paying attention. Their focus and attention will help them review the concepts we have learned, and engage in more practice with each of them in all subject areas. Their efforts and practice now will set them up for success when it comes time to take the EOGs in a few short weeks. Please have a conversation with your child about their future success and how working hard now and paying attention will help them in the future :)
On Tuesday, March 26th we will have a Middle School Electives Fair for current 5th grade students who are going to middle school next year. This will give them an opportunity to learn about what electives the middle school offers, and make a list of their top options! Electives include: Art, band, STEM, Spanish, Chorus, Computer Science, Dance, Books to Film, Speech to Drama, Computer Skills, Creative Writing, Horticulture, and Life Skills.
The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming Soon! The book fair will be at our school from March 22 until March 28! Our class will visit the Book Fair on Monday, March 25th. Visit the Media Center for all the fun! We accept cash, card, and mobile payments but you can set up an eWallet for your child so they can shop at the book fair cash-free. Check out this link for directions on setting up an eWallet.
