River Mill Academy is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and plays in the Carolina 9 2A/1A Conference. Our Middle School tennis team competes against other charter schools and private schools in the area.

The Participation Fee for all middle school and high school athletics is $35 per athlete. The fee is due prior to participation in the first sport each school year.

All prospective student-athletes must have a current physical in order to try out for a team. Physicals are good for one calendar year. In addition, all student-athletes must have turned in the required documents to one of the Athletic Directors or Head Coaches in order to participate. Documents are available from the Athletic Directors and the "Athletic Information and Forms" tab on the website.
